Resumo
A presente pesquisa está contemplada com uma abordagem acerca do crescimento econômico relativo à divisão de trabalho, regulação de mercado e liberalismo econômico na perspectiva de Adam Smith. Tem-se por objetivo geral descrever o pensamento do autor no tocante ao crescimento econômico, assim como objetivos específicos investigar os critérios prevalentes na divisão do trabalho os quais favorecem ao crescimento econômico, compreender as formas de atuação do mercado e analisar o papel do Estado no liberalismo econômico e o resultado esperado é a apresentação da forma que os ensinamentos de Adam Smith influenciaram o livre desenvolvimento das pessoas. Quanto à metodologia será utilizada a descritiva e analítica, com pesquisa bibliográfica.

Abstract
This research is covered with an approach about the economic growth on the division of labor market regulation and economic liberalism from the perspective of Adam Smith. It has a general objective to describe the author's thinking with regard to economic growth, as well as specific objectives investigate the prevalent criteria in the division of labor which favor economic growth, understanding the forms of market performance and analyze the state's role in economic liberalism and the expected result is the presentation of the way the teachings of Adam Smith influenced the free development of the people. As for the methodology to be used descriptive and analytical, with literature.
