Resumo
O trabalho apresenta uma análise descritiva sobre a criação e alguns aspectos destacados do Tribunal de Contas europeu e do Tribunal de Contas da União com enfoque na doutrina e nas legislações que regem estas duas instituições. Justifica-se o trabalho pela necessidade de haver uma maior interação entre os órgãos de controle, estreitando as fronteiras e ampliando conhecimentos sobre a atuação destas duas Cortes de Contas. Destarte, o objetivo geral é ressaltar a importância destas duas instituições de controle externo; e o específico é apresentar algumas de suas similaridades e diferenças. A metodologia utilizada na fase de investigação foi o método indutivo; na fase de tratamento de dados o cartesiano e no relatório da pesquisa a base indutiva com comparações exemplificativas.

Abstract
The paper presents a descriptive analysis of the creation and some highlights of the Court of Auditors and the Court of Audit with a focus on doctrine and the laws governing these two institutions. Justified by the work needs to be a greater interaction between the control units, narrowing the boundaries and expanding knowledge about the performance of these two Courts of Auditors. Thus, the overall goal is to emphasize the importance of these two institutions of external control, and the specific is to present some of their similarities and differences. The methodology used for the research was the inductive method, the phase of data processing and the Cartesian research report inductive base with illustrative comparisons.
